Mount Rushmore

The first stop our summer vacation was Mount Rushmore. I was impressed at how beautiful the Black Hills area of South Dakota is. We got there early in the morning and there was only a couple other people there. They had the gates open and we were able to wander around we just couldn't go in the buildings. It was a nice little stop that wasn't far off our path. We had never been to South Dakota and thought it was pretty cool to see Dakota's name everywhere. My favorite was "DakotaMart"!
