History Museum aka Houdini Museum

We had a fun time at the museum last week! The best part was the Houdini exhibit which takes up the whole top floor of the "castle". Houdini lived in Appleton when he was a child. The exhibit tells all about his life (and death), and has many neat interactive props and things to do. We especially liked getting to do the magic trick with the trunk.

The basement was also neat with the printing press and the exhibit on how paper is made (we live in a big paper making area). The girls enjoyed sitting in the saddle and milking the cow. After our museum experience we went to Dairy Queen, it was a fun Actitivy Day.

I now have a new assistant, Heather Jorgensen...I'm so excited! I think Doug may be as well, now he doesn't have to help me with the activities. :)
